Scottish Fencing new organisational structure

Our Strategy document for 2022 – 2025, is supported by an organisational structure with two part-time and two full-time roles.

With the departure of our part-time CEO at the end of March we have taken the opportunity to consider if any other structures are possible within the confines of our current staffing.

We have decided three full-time roles would be advantageous, giving greater cohesion, simplifying communication, and making it easier to attract candidates.

The three full-time roles we have identified are:

  • Chief Operating Officer/ Head of Pathways

  • Fencing Community Development Manager

  • Operations Manager

Following an interview we are pleased to announce Clare Queen has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Offer/ Head of Pathways with effect from Monday 18 April.

The Fencing Community Development Manager role will now be advertised.
