Rules and Regulations
The rules of fencing are maintained by the worldwide governing body for fencing, the FIE (Fedaration Internationale d'Escrime).
Scottish Fencing events follow these rules. Where there is a need for local interpretation of rules (eg. timing of introduction of new rules), Scottish Fencing generally follows British Fencing.
You can read more and also buy a printed copy of the rules at the British Fencing website.
