Transporting U18 Members

On most occassions it is the parentsor guardians who are responsible for transporting their children to and from training and competitions.

However there are times when it is necessary for junior members to rely on the goodwill of other members’, their parents and/or volunteers to transport them.

How do clubs aim to make these arrangements safe and adequate? Below are some resources to help clubs guide their volunteers and parents on how to make sure that the procedures and policies are in place for those occasions when their childen or members need to travel with adults who are not their parents or guardians. It is important that both the volunteer offering to travel with the young people and the young people themselves are supported by the club.
