SDS - Inclusive CLub Resource

Scottish Disability Sport have got an excellent E-Learning Module aimed at mainstream clubs and activity providers to further their knowledge of creating an inclusive club culture for participants with disabilities.

You will need to create and account to access the course. If you already have a login for the Brightspace coach platform, then you can search the course and complete it on that platform as well.

The projects section show some of the things currently where clubs can get involved with like the Feel Your Best Campaign & the Charter for Sport - both great things for clubs to get involved with. The Mental Health Charter for Physical Activity and Sport is for club and community based organisations to make four key commitments to help create the positive change needed and ensure mental health and wellbeing is not a barrier to engaging, participating and achieving in physical activity and sport.

The final research section, has information on the latest research into the relationships between our physical and mental health and wellbeing, the latest report: Moving Through Menopause: A SAMH report on moving through menopause


Leap Sports Scotland

LEAP Sports Scotland (Leadership, Equality and Active Participation in Sports for LGBTI people in Scotland) works for greater inclusion for LGBTI people in sport and against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in a sports context. They are committed to breaking down the structural, social and personal barriers which prevent lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people across the country from accessing, participating and excelling in Scottish sports.
